The Corporal Christopher Kelly Willis Foundation hosted a “Polar Bear Poker Run” charity motorcycle ride on Saturday, October 20, 2007. The Run started at Hawg Shop Plus in
Battle Creek and ended at the Battle Creek Marine Corp Base with stops at the VFW Hall in
Augusta and at Christopher's gravesite in Fort Custer
National
Cemetery in
Battle Creek.
Proceeds from the event went to the Foundation to continue its mission of providing “Great Rewards for Great Warriors”. This ride also supported and helped to feed and clothe the homeless. Many of our homeless have served this country in the military and returned from duty with physical and/or emotional injuries.
